Over at the Rangefinder forum, a challenge contest of sorts began today. One camera, one lens, 14 days. It works pretty much like it sounds. You choose one camera and one lens (no zooms) and shoot with nothing else for two weeks. Participants will upload up to three images and judging is by the group.
It's been a while since I've done anything like this. I do think it can be a worthwhile exercise, since constraining technical options can stimulate creative solutions. After all, if McGyver had carried a gun, a pound of C4 and a telephone with him at all times, he could have solved all those problems without thinking.
I've chosen my Balda Super Baldax for the challenge. I like to shoot medium format when I can. The camera has a great lens and easily accepts filters. It's loaded with Ilford PanF+ (50 ISO B&W).
