Yea, I haven't posted for awhile. All I can say is that I'm often under-motivated even for tasks I have to do to make a living. Actually, a better reason for my absence from this blog would be twitter. I discovered its rather addictive nature and at the moment, most of my photo interactions are happening there.
Since I posted last, I haven't been shooting as much as I would like (of course, I never meet that standard), but I have been reading, thinking and viewing quite a bit. Perhaps I can call it a time to consolidate my thoughts on photography. That sounds better than being a lazy bastard anyway.
I've been giving in to minor temptations quite a bit lately, buying up cheap cameras here and there. I'm up to 3 Olympus Stylus Epic cameras now...because they're a bit like potato chips. I also picked up a Fuji Instax 200 camera, since I seemed to have been missing Polaroid instant film. It's been a hoot...an expensive hoot to be sure...but still a hoot.
Shooting the Instax film gave me an urge to shoot more color, so I just ran a roll of Ektar through the Yashicamat 124G. Really love Ektar in medium format...great results. If it weren't for having to send color film out for processing, I'd be doing a lot more of that.
How about one shot to justify my owning 3 Stylus Epic cameras? This one was taken on Lake Havasu in Arizona from the back of a See Doo.

Well, on the strengths of this one, the camera acquisitions are paying off! Good shot with a soft feel to it - love that soft water.
